A little more about me….with over 25 years design experience as an interior designer and window treatment designer, and a passion for homes of all kinds, I love what I do!
I grew up in new builds. My mom was in real estate and sold new construction homes since I was in elementary school. I love fresh Sheetrock and the excitement of a house turning into a home. I was lucky enough to have my dream job working in a new home design center for 7 years in California.
In 2007, I moved to Arizona. After my son was born, I reinvented myself with my own design business. I was furnishing homes and helping clients do small scale remodel projects. This included day-long trips around the Phoenix area. I often picked up furniture in a rental U-Haul with my son beside me in a car seat.
Hard work and dedication to what ever I’m doing is in my blood. 16 years ago I started working for Elite Shutters and Blinds, with no plan to focus on window treatments alone. But it’s become my specialty, and a passion. I love helping my clients find the right product to suit their needs, whether that is more for function or more for look, or both. Each project is different and that makes it fun! Whether it’s just a few simple shades or a custom drapery job, no project is too big or too small. One thing that I really enjoy is how amazed people are by the transformation window treatments make. It’s so often the last thing on the list and yet the biggest impact in the room. I cover the entire Phoenix valley and do a LOT of driving.
I’m blessed to have an amazing husband, son and stepson. I love spending time with my family and spoiled pets.
Unfortunately I have lost both my parents to cancer and miss them everyday! It’s a life changing experience. I try to take things day to day and enjoy the little moments that make life beautiful. I have many friends that date back to grade school, and my friendships are super important to me!
Oh and I love chairs, I could never own enough chairs!
